This is a beautiful stone and untreated! The majority of sapphire on the market is subject to traditional heat treatment methods in improving color (Not This One) This stone is dichroic in nature and face up the color is a gorgeous blue. Tilting the stone to the side reveals a loss of color due to the nature of the color center in this stone.
