Thought I should tell the tail of this stone…. It’s winter break from College/university over here in Australia right now, and at the beginning of the break I wanted a bit of a challenge to get me out of “school mode” and have some fun. So I designed my first oval, pity I didn’t design it with some guide facets to govern the shape! If you have a depth of cut indicator system this design would be a moderate one to cut, without? It’s a nightmare! Still I made it work, almost no cheating and I still hit about 80% of the meets.
This stone really does look way better in person too, the ends have so much going on that it’s fun just to hold it and watch the light play….
