I was fortunate enough to be able to aquire a parcel of spinels from Mahenge, Tanzania recently. These spinels are highly sought after for their vibrant colors. This gem is no different. The color is a vibrant mix of pink, red and orange that is one of a kind. This spinel was cut from a 8.45 carat piece of rough and was finished in an elongated asscher cut. The finished stone glows in all lighting.
