  1. This cut a very nice stone, even with inclusions a fantastic gem. Approximately 26 cts. Sorry, this one was by commission.

  2. Another Sea Foam Tourmaline:

And a second earlier thread: How do you describe seafoam green?

The name or color “Sea Foam” is simply a color convention used to describe a well known and rare color of tourmaline.

  3. Another Example of Sea Foam Rough from the Laghman Province Afghanistan:

  4. Same rough as above showing the color much better than the crystal:

  5. The same Sea Foam tourmaline looking down the C Axis. A bit more grass green color:

  6. Hey Jeff, nice rough! Wish there was more of that to go around. Roger Dery

  7. That is some BEAUTIFUL tourmaline rough. Can’t wait to see it after it is cut.

  8. Hey Roger, you never know when pieces of that rough will pop up. I’ll try to add a couple more shots of rough in the next week or so. More of a blue-green rather than sea-foam though. In fact I think it’s from the same parcel shown on Jeff Graham’s site – the bottom piece on this page: Special Tourmaline
    .

  9. Hi Stevo – There’s an epic story (almost) behind each one of those pieces. The second piece of rough may be seen soon as a finished stone. -Sorry about that.

I have quick photos of the first but it was too included to get a good shot – looks far worse than it is – that photo isn’t for publication, the photo just isn’t good enough. The stone is long gone.

  10. Another example of a fine Sea Foam Tourmaline by Jan Barglowski – click through to see the information on One World Gemstone.

  11. Two photos from a wonderful Tourmaline faceted by the Master Roger Dery. This piece won’t last long and the sale will benefit the Green Gem Foundaiton. Contact Roger Dery now.
