This is one of the largest indigenous aquamarines ever found inthe United States! My daughter and i dug it up at the Oceanview mine tailings from the famous 49er pocket which yielded most of the largest aquamarines in the united states this being 1 there of. Bill Larson sold several of those found for 10s of thousands of dollars as these are RARE! Im selling this one for my daughters education fund. The whole specemin weighs 2057ct or 411 grams. It is attached to a matrix of quartz, smoky quartz and clevlandite with a few shorl pieces of tourmaline. The aquamarine crystal alone is 44×34x32mm. The whole specemin is is about 4x that size as its too big for my micrometer to measure. A truly rare piece of mining history and a major musium specimin. Also the black spots on the crystal washed off and not on it as it was just dirt. Feel free to make an offer! I have included an image of the pocket it came from! this is a top collection piece.
